New “Wonder Woman” video clips showed the film’s World War I setting. As they film around locations in the U.K., did they pass by the “Downton Abbey” set?
According to Hitflix, Instagram user @blazinsaddles was at Lincoln Inn in London while the “Wonder Woman” was right outside his window. Aside from photos, he was able to capture two videos from the set.
From the videos posted, Hitflix noted that the set looks more like “Downton Abbey.” Do you agree?
Screen Rant reported that “Wonder Woman” solo film will serve as a prequel to other DC film adaptations. As such, Diana Prince will be placed in the World War I setting.
In the next video clip, @blazinsaddles even caught a video of “Batman vs Superman” star Gal Gadot and “Star Trek” star Chris Pine. Watch the video closely and you’ll see Chris Pine as he escorts Diana Prince.
As mentioned on the site, there have been rumours about the film’s “multiple timelines.” Reports mentioned that Chris will play the modern day Steve Trevor and his World War I ancestor.
Similarly, it can be observed in the clip that extras held signs which reads, “End War” and “Peace Talks in Progress.” This could mean that the film’s setting might be near the end of WWI. Did you also notice that Gal Gadot wore the cloak from her first official photo? Hitflix noted that Diana might have just entered the world of man in the leaked video clips.
“Wonder Woman” is said to be the first female-led DC superhero film. Thus, Screen Rant mentioned that it’s “one of the most historic and anticipated upcoming movies.” Actors David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, and Robin Wright will also join Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.
Catch Diana Prince in DC film “Batman vs. Superman” on March 25, 2016. Her solo film,”Wonder Woman,” will officially hit theatres on June 23, 2017.
