‘Wonder Woman’ Movie: Gal Gadot Talks About Young & Reckless Diana Prince

Gal Gadot is the latest actress to take on the role of Wonder Woman. Her character debuted recently in the movie “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice”.

It was only a glimpse into what fans could look forward to in 2017. Gal Gadot will premiere her solo movie “Wonder Woman” next year.

The actress spoke with IGN about the amazon princess. She gave insight into how different she would be from what “Batman vs Superman” showed.

“Wonder Woman is different from the woman you see in BvS. She’s more naive, and pure, and she’s this young idealist who does not understand the complexities of men in life. Whereas in BvS, she’s super. She’s very experienced. It’s been such an amazing, creative process,” Gadot told IGN.

The audience will learn about Wonder Woman’s first foray into man’s world. On her initial journey, she traveled throughout Europe as Diana Prince at the time of the Great War, Cinemablend reported.

However, it tainted her view of humanity. Thus, she chose to return to her home in Paradise Island.

She returns to man’s world in “Batman vs Superman”. By this time, she decides to give the world a second chance. Upon learning of Batman’s plan to form a team of “metahumans”, present day Wonder Woman will take part in “Justice League: Part One”, the website noted.

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman had a huge impact on audience despite her minimal screen exposure. Critics may have slammed the movie, but her performance only made audience want more of Wonder Woman. The Guardian cited various compliments about the character.

Forbes noted “we only get enough Wonder Woman to leave us wanting more”. The Wrap said, “[she alone] injects some real vitality into the sludgy, superhero sameness”.

Indeed, Gadot’s efforts as Wonder Woman in “Batman vs Superman” were notable. Fans already anticipated her silver screen presence prior to the premiere.

Even co-star Ben Affleck praised Gal Gadot’s performance as Wonder Woman in the movie.

Gadot expressed her excitement for the “Wonder Woman” movie earlier this month People reported.

“I am so happy to be the one who is going to tell the Wonder Woman story. It is such an important story to tell. It is so important for girls and boys to have a female, strong, superhero to look up to,” Gadot said at a press event for “Batman vs Superman”.

Independent reported about her recent Twitter Q&A with fans. Gadot noted the need for more female superheroes to serve as role models for girls.
