When is Winds of Winter’s release date? Avid fans of George R.R. Martin’s upcoming book must hold on to their sanity while waiting. The novelist has been enticing readers for about five years since he published the last material in the series.
Martin is very good at hiding details, which sparked several theories and speculations. Desperate fans are beginning to believe that the upcoming book does not really exist.
Fab News reported that the author was at the San Diego Comic-Con. However, it looks like it was only someone who costume plays the acclaimed writer.
There is still no solid information about the real status of the book. However, readers must know that Martin has been telling his fans that he will finish the novel.
According to the website, he intended to publish the book alongside the release of Game of Thrones Season 6. However, this did not happen.
Following the delay, Martin apologized to his supporters via his online journal. He wrote that he was the most disappointed with the delay, above all the people.
As expected, a lot of rumors about the reason of the delay surfaced. Various media outlets guessed that he is experiencing writer’s block, while others claim that Martin has “too much on his plate” that he forgot to focus on the book.
On the other hand, a previous report must have brought light at the end of the tunnel. Martin will attend the 74th World Science Fiction Convention that will be held at the Kansas City Convention Center in Missouri from Aug. 17 to 21.
The author invited his fans through his online journal site Not A Blog. He confirmed that he will be there to hold an autograph session and for other activities as well.
