“Game of Thrones” is one show where fans will discover first on the telly about how things end, and then on paper. However, author George R.R. Martin has kept things a bit different in the highly anticipated “Winds of Winter.” Is it for real or a hoax?

“Winds of Winter” is the much-anticipated novel in the series of “A Song of Ice and Fire” in which HBO’s “Game of Thrones” is based. However, even if the book gets eternally delayed, “Games of Thrones” isn’t stopping. This means that fans will get to know ahead about how things unfold in the series before the book.

Nevertheless, recent reports now reveal that author George R.R. Martin will have different plots for “Winds of Winter” and “Game of Thrones.” The Bit Bag informs that a major character who died on television in its HBO series will have a comeback in the book. Is this for real? Or is it just rumours?

Who could this character be? Certainly not Jon Snow. The publication also speculates that Martin would even consider killing off another major character in the book. Those who love both the books and the show will now have to follow both.

The news comes on the heels of the recent release of a new chapter from “Winds of Winter.” ANN had reported that Martin released the new chapter to keep impatient readers occupied.

First Post explains that the story is Arianne Martell’s point of view. According to the chapter, Arianne travels secretly to Westeros to find out more about the uprising led by Lord Connington and Aegon Targaryen. However, instead of keeping the readers busy, the chapter-tease has only intensified their anticipation for “Winds of Winter.”

Martin will have to hurry up and finish the book as soon as he can. ANN reported that the author will be enlisting the help of Neil Gaiman to finish the book.
