It is hard to declare a game as a critical success if it has not been released yet, especially to a game that has been announced three years ago and fans had waited for a long time to see more progress about it. But looks like Microsoft is confident with Quantum Break as they are expecting that the game will become a “mega hit.”
First reported by Gamespot, the said talk about Quantum Break was from a podcast session at the TXR Podcast where Xbox marketing executive Aaron Greenberg was also present. He mentioned the reception of the pre-orders for Quantum Break and he stated that the preorders are going strong and all are performing well ahead of their original plan, this also means that retailers are now increasing their orders for the game.
When asked about the game itself, Greenberg stated, “We’ve been playing the game; we know it’s a great game. Fingers crossed, but I think we’re sitting on a mega hit.”
Microsoft also recently shared a data that shows Quantum Break is breaking its projections, making Quantum Break to struck gold on the manufacturing cycle; meaning it will be ready for duplication and release. Looks like it might actually sell big with Microsoft being so confident on the said game.
Quantum Break is an upcoming action adventure game from Remedy Entertainment and will be published by Microsoft Studios, the game will be exclusive for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs as the game will be optimizing the DirectX12 feature. A live action series was also planned for production and it will be available digitally.
Quantum Break is running on the new Northlight Engine created by Remedy Entertainment. Expect to see the game as it becomes available on April 5.
