“The Jungle book” has been one of it’s kind. The movie has been a visual treat, prompting people to relive their childhood memories. While most viewers find it a fun film to watch, have you imagined what the team has been up to behind the scenes?
The effort of the team has been immense which is reflected in the reviews of the movie. Not only did the images, which are photorealistic and stunning, catch the eye, but the celebrity voices behind the animals have been at the centre of appreciation.
This behind-the-scenes video shows how much effort each one of them had to put through to make the movie a total success. The video showcases the actions and the emotions of the celebrities, which are clearly visible and reflected in the movie. It takes us to the reality behind the success.
The video starts with clippings of Bagheera being voiced by Ben Kingsley, Shere Khan the tiger by Idris Elba, Baloo the bear by Bill Murray, Kaa the Python by Scarlett Johansson, and assorted wolves by Lupita Nyong’o, Giancarlo Esposito, and others. Then came the setting: It’s crazy to see how imagery is created and/or manipulated outside the context of a live-action shot.
Jon Favreau has himself directed each scene as can be seen in the video, and the little master Neel Sethi seemed to absorb that all. Sethi as Mowgli has been phenomenal as well.
It needs a good team to reach such perfection, where everyone is seen to be appreciating the works of others. Favreau never failed to say “good job” to the team after getting each shot.
