The Golden State Warriors will play the Portland Trail Blazers in the fourth game of their NBA Play-Offs campaign at the Moda Center in Portland on Monday, May 9, starting 10:30 PM ET.

Game 4 is likely to be without Steph Curry who remains doubtful due to injury. The Warriors have taken a 2-1 lead in the series already and are ready to strike back again. As per the NBA official notes, “Losing streaks don’t happen to the Warriors.

“Golden State is 10-0 in games that immediately follow losses this season, winning those by an average of 15.8 points. Put another way, when the Warriors are annoyed, they respond – and usually emphatically.

“They haven’t lost consecutive games since last year’s NBA Finals.”

Curry’s absence is one of the worrying factors for Coach Steve Kerr. “We don’t have the luxury of staying with a set rotation,” coach Kerr said. “We have to read what’s going on and play different people based on what we see and what we need, but that’s all right. We’ve got a lot of players who can play and they’ve been ready to perform all year.”

The Oklahoma team must look to a “closeout” opportunity on game 5 as that will give them ample amount of rest before they face Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference semi-finals.

“Now they’re feeling like they can do it,” Green said about the Trail Blazers. “We know otherwise. You can expect Game 4 to be a battle.”
