The seventh season of “The Walking Dead” hasn’t even premiered yet. But fans are already speculating that the series will get another run after. Will the show’s seventh installment be its best one yet? Will it be so good AMC will order another season for the series?
News about the show’s renewal has not been confirmed. However, according to ComicBook.com, Norman Reedus recently did tease what fans could expect from Season 7. “It’s hard core,” the show’s star said. “It might be rougher than you were expecting.”
This is not the first time Reedus built up hype for the show’s next season. “It’s worth the wait, trust me,” he previously told Entertainment Weekly. “I think probably the planet is going to explode [when the season premieres]… It’s so good.”
The actor also assured fans that their show can only get better from now on.”It continually surprises me how this show grows and is put together…It blows my mind,” he added. “It just continually reaches a new plateau every single time, and this is the highest plateau we’ve ever been.” Should fans expect Season 7 to be the best in “Walking Dead” history? This remains to be seen. However, the show’s renewal for Season 8 and beyond is still on the table. Series producer Greg Nicotero recently did say they can “keep it going for as long as [they] want it go on.”‘
Meanwhile, Reedus’ co-star Josh McDermitt recently told TMZ how hard it has been to hide Season 7 spoilers from fans. “: he said. “It’s a show that people love,” he said. “People want to know. They’re impatient. They don’t want to wait until October, I get it… I mean I was a fan of the show before I started working on it. So I would want to know everything about it too. But at the end of the day, it makes our jobs harder… That they should go to the lengths that we’ve reportedly been going through? Does every show need to do that? No, because not every show is The Walking Dead.”
“The Walking Dead” Season 7 will return on AMC this October.
