When Season 10 of “The Voice” started last February 29, numerous tweets from fans talked about the disappearance of Gwen Stefani as well as the return of Christina Aguilera.
On the other hand, Aguilera has been in and out as judge for the singing competition since 2011. After her absence, she is resolute about returning in season 10 of The Voice.
Mixed reactions regarding Aguilera and Stefani has surfaced in Twitter as reported in US Weekly. Some are excited to see the Aguilera’s reappearance while others are not too happy that it has to be at the expense of Stefani leaving. Everyone is forward and quick to share their opinion regarding the lovely lady coaches.
According to Radar Online, the TV show ended with high ratings most likely due to the developing relationship between Shelton and Stefani. Additionally, the two have been romantic in social media and are not withdrawn about their love affair. Now that Stefani has to leave to make way for Aguilera, many are speculating that this might hurt the ratings.
In one of Shelton’s interviews, he made a joke regarding adding a fifth judge but a source told Radar that such is impossible.
“They have been switching the female judges on and off for over three seasons now and it has nothing to do with how well Gwen is performing” or what Aguilera wants. It has more to do with just keeping it different by changing it up. As of right now, there are no plans to make it five judges.”
Aside from the gorgeous girls, the judge panel usually consists of four other talented musicians. The roster does change from time to time but Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams are expected to be back for the upcoming new season of the competitive singing program.
