‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7: Nina Dobrev ‘Major Appearance’ Confirmed by Paul Wesley


Despite bidding goodbye to the show, it seems “Vampire Diaries” fans don’t have lose hope in seeing Nina Dobrev on the show’s Season 7. Actor Paul Wesley confirmed that she will still be a “big part” of the series.

On the Season 6 finale, fans were left in tears after Nina Dobrev’s character, Elena, was put onto a sleeping spell for 60 years by the show’s villain, Kai.

Dobrev revealed in reports that she has no interest in coming back to the show. No matter how much her co-stars miss her, Dobrev admitted that she is done with TVD.

During “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premiere on October 8, there were new characters, a new line of story and Dobrev has just become a topic of conversation among the Salvatore Brothers.

The characters were seen writing about what they could tell Elena when she finally wakes up.

However, in an interview with TV Insider, actor Paul Wesley revealed that while Elena is gone, she will still be a “big part” of the series.

“Elena’s still a very big part of the story. Her body’s in danger in the first few episodes, and Damon is doing everything he can to make sure it stays safe if and when she wakes up,” Wesley, who plays Stefan Salvatore, revealed.

“We all had imagined this complete reboot where Elena was gone, but she’s talked about so much.”

As for Nina Dobrev, the actress is reported to be “revamping” her career and hinting to end her “TVD connection,” according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Yibada reports that Dobrev “is not in a hurry to land a role” and to ensure “script of the project, and her possible role interests her greatly.”
