Playstation holds too many surprises. When the store first revealed the BETA last year for “Uncharted 4”, it was only made available for people who bought the “Uncharted 4: Nathan Drake Collection”. But they don’t mind changing their plans.
Last time around, Naughty Dog revealed that it had no plans for an “Open BETA”. But according to the Gamespot reports, “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” is finally getting a second BETA. As per the sources the “Open BETA” will be available from March 4-6. Well, the listing has been removed but it does not reduce the possibility that an “Open BETA” will happen.
According to the German PlayStation Store, the upcoming “Uncharted 4” multiplayer beta will “offer the team death-match mode, playable on three maps.” Seems pretty exciting.
“Uncharted 4” will finally release at the end of April “exclusively” for Playstation 4 consoles.
Recently, “Uncharted 4” made headlines for using the “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” imagery. Its not often that Sony has to regret making a mistake. But sometimes even the very best ends up making one.
Sony admitted to using imagery from an “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” art book in its recently released “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” story trailer, as per the Gamespot reports. According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed head of content Azaïzia Aymar pointed out the use of imagery on Twitter. He jokingly remarked, “I get the ‘thief” title now.”
Sony soon released an apology related to the matter. “In our eagerness to get the story trailer out we made a regrettable mistake and didn’t thoroughly vet the artwork used for an in game painting,” the Sony representative said. “We’ve already updated the trailer. We hold all artistry in high regard and take full responsibility for having allowed this to happen.
“We want to sincerely apologise to everyone at Ubisoft, the Assassin’s Creed team, the original artist, and our fans.”
