It is undeniable that the ice cream craze applies to everyone. Ride-sharing app Uber has come up with an initiative to offer ice creams throughout Australia and the United States for a good cause.

As soon as the ice cream gets ordered, Uber will ferry it to the doorstep of customers. This Friday will be a memorable one for ice cream lovers as they will not have to take a trip to an ice cream parlor to get their favorite flavors. To make the deal special, the ride app has joined hands with high-profile chefs who will bring to you three of the best flavors prepared by them.

The initiative comes following Uber’s intention to help people in need of proper meals. They are initiating this in partnership with OzHarvest, an Australian charity. To get the service at your door, you just need to pay $15 and enjoy a half-liter tub of any one of the celebrity chef-prepared flavors you want. For every tub purchased, there will be five meals offered to feed the needy.

The three flavors that you get include Masterchef’s George Columbaris and Press Club’s walnut baklava and caramel. The second flavor that you can choose is Aria’s Matt Marohan’s banoffee crunch while the third ice cream flavor is Rockpool’s Neil Parry’s spiced cookie and caramel swirled ice cream.

Uber will start taking orders from 11 am. To find out the locations where the ice creams would be delivered, you can log on to the Uber website. The ferry with the tub of ice creams will reach customers with all three flavors, as the customer won’t be allowed to make their choice while placing orders. They can make their choice at their place.

As of now, the places where the ferry ice creams would be delivered include the CBD, Bondi, Paramatta city center, Pyrmont, Eastern Suburbs, Macquarie Park, Northern Sydney, etc.
