“Titanfall 2” is reported to have earned the Mountain Dew 2016 campaign when the brand dropped its partnership with “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” due to bad trailer release.
Segment Next reported that the one of the major reasons Mountain Dew didn’t pursue their partnership with “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” was due to the bad trailer the game produced.
The same source said that it is thus far the worst trailer video Activision has produced since its years of producing high-quality trailers. In fact, “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” has earned 3 million dislikes at the moment.
Given their disappointment with the recent video, Mountain Dew didn’t see any reason to help advertise the game and decided to drop the deal.
Instead, they focused their attention on the upcoming “Titanfall 2,” which will be released this October.
According to a recent report made by Segment Next, Mountain Dew will get better showing with “Titanfall 2” compared with “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.”
The partnership will cover a variety of gameplay codes that will encourage rewards including XP boosting and Titan rewards.
Details about their partnership are not clear until now, so gamers should keep themselves updated for further announcements.
What they could expect is the leaked information from an avid “Titanfall” gamer who revealed to the global audience information regarding the sequel “Titanfall 2” launching in October this year.
Although the game was predicted to arrive in 2017, surprisingly, news about its earlier arrival came out.
Aside from its earlier launching, gamers could also experience the upgrades and add-on features. These features include the new handgun called the Violator as well as new and bigger maps.
Amid speculations from everyone who have been waiting for its release date, Respawn Entertainment, the game developer, didn’t make any official statements.
