The Grandmaster will be part of “Thor: Ragnarok.” And he will spend the movie seeking pleasure as much as he can. This, “Thor 3” star Jeff Goldblum revealed in a recent interview.

According to Collider, the actor recently confirmed that he will play the Grandmaster in “Ragnarok.” He described his Marvel character as “a hedonist, a pleasure seeker, an enjoyer of life and tastes and smells.” The Grandmaster is one of the Elders of Marvel’s extended universe. He has been depicted as a super villain in comic books before. Does this mean he will be a big baddie in “Thor: Ragnarok?” Goldblum would not reveal what role Grandmaster will play in the movie. But he did admit he knew from the start that he can easily take on the role.

“I thought, I can do that, I’ll bet!” he revealed. However, that did not make him complacent as an actor, though. “I’m working on my part every day,” he explained. “I’m a sponge, researching. [Director Taika Waititi] is encouraging me to improvise and make it my own, and that’s what I’m trying to do.”

According to ComicBook.com, Goldblum and the rest of the “Thor 3” cast will be spending “three weeks or a month” in Brisbane, Australia for the movie’s shoot. Filming Down Under is an added treat for the actor. “I’ve never been to Australia except to do these little publicity things,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Thor’s rumored fight with the Grandmaster might not be the only thing fans can look forward to in “Thor: Ragnarok.” Thor’s adoptive brother, Loki, and the Hulk might also face off in the movie. “The last time Loki and Hulk were in the same room didn’t go very well for Loki. So, he’s got a few chips on his shoulder, but…it’s fun, you’ll see,” Tom Hiddleston hinted.
