“Thor: Ragnarok” will not be released for over a year but spoilers for the movie are already afoot. Will Loki really battle it out with a certain “Thor 3” character?
According to Movie Pilot, a “real” showdown between Loki and Odin is long overdue. A previous “Thor” movie ended with Loki on the throne “in the guise of Odin.” Will “Ragnarok” show how Loki was able to pull that off? The film blog thinks it isn’t possible for Odin to have just been killed off-screen. Will a battle between Loki and Odin really happen in the upcoming movie? This has yet to be confirmed so stay tuned for updates.
Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston took back what he earlier said about retiring as Loki. According to the Examiner, Hiddleston seems to have let slip that “Ragnarok” will be his last movie as Loki. “Thor 3 will be cool because I have not done it for four years. I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate,” the British actor said.
Hiddleston was also asked if he will appear as Loki in the first part of “Avengers: Infinity War.” The actor admitted, “I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know…They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.” It was earlier reported that around 70 Marvel heroes are set to appear in the third “Avengers” movie. Could Loki be one of them? Fans will have to wait for the movie to come around to find out. “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” will not hit theatres until May 4, 2018. And fans will have to wait another year for the movie’s second half. “Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
But for sure, Loki will definitely appear in “Thor 3.” “Thor: Ragnarok” will hit the big screen on October 25, 2017.
