The Walking Dead Season 7 could reveal more than what fans expected.
The premiere of The Walking Dead Season 7 could not come sooner for fans. The cliffhanger ending of season 6 continues to fuel speculation regarding Negan’s victim. Yet sources recently hinted at the possibility that he killed more than one member of Rick’s group. Reports specified four characters namely Abraham, Glenn, Eugene, and Rosita, as they seemed absent on the set.
While the report is a speculation, the latest revelation about the upcoming season pointed to the addition of four new characters to the cast. Hence, would they serve as replacements for Negan’s alleged victims? Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Dwight (Austin Amelio), Gregory (Xander Berkeley), and Jesus (Tom Payne) have recurring roles in The Walking Dead Season 7, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The same characters are also key players in the comic books. Negan debuted in the season 6 finale with Lucy.
Dwight is a member of The Saviors who appears to have unresolved issues with Daryl (Norman Reedus). Gregory heads the Hilltop Colony who will be at odds with Maggie (Lauren Cohan). However, he will work together with Rick and his band of survivors to kill Negan, The Wrap wrote. Jesus is also part of the Hilltop Colony but becomes friends with Rick and his band.
As it turns out, Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), and Rosita (Christian Serratos) might not be Negan’s victims. The names of these characters are included in the list of series regulars published. Hence, season 7 features 20 series regulars with the four additions. To date, the characters killed off the series were Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh), Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge), Denise (Merritt Wever), and Nicholas (Michael Traynor).

Yet, fans could likely expect the loss of another character once the identity of Negan’s victim is known. Meanwhile, eager TWD fans will soon find out who got the role of Ezekiel, leader of the Kingdom community. Early contenders for the role were Dave Fennoy, Harold Perrineau, and Ving Rhames. Fans can expect news of the premiere date and release of the trailer for The Walking Dead Season 7 at the San Diego Comic-Con this July.
