The end is near for this season of CW’s “The Flash.” Which villain from the past is set to return before Flash Season 2 ends?
According to Screen Rant, the team will have to battle it out with “an old enemy.” Super villain Girder will return on Flash Season 2. Greg Finley previously appeared on the show as Girder in 2014. How will the team able to thwart Girder’s evil schemes?
Meanwhile, casting is underway for Barry Allen’s solo film. According to Heroic Hollywood, “The Flash” movie is currently looking to cast five characters, including Iris West. West is a reporter at The Central City Citizen. For the role, casting directors are looking for an actress with “Christiane Amanpour’s brains and Carrie Bradshaw’s style.”
Casting directors also hope to find an actor perfect for the role of Jay Garrick. However, according to Heroic Hollywood, this role might just be a cameo. Meanwhile, they are also looking for an actor to play Eobard Thawne. This character is described as “Central City’s Bill Gates.” But actors hoping to bag this role need to be comfortable being confined to a chair for most of the movie since Thawne suffers from a degenerative disease. Aside from these characters, the movie is also looking for actors to play Len Snart and Fred Chyre.
The movie version of Flash will be played by actor Ezra Miller. According to producer Deborah Snyder, Miller’s casting will affect the tone of the movie. “Ezra is super funny,” Snyder earlier said. “So the tone of that film will be very different than the rest.” Miller has already appeared on screen as Allen in the recently released “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Fans need to wait a little longer for his solo movie, though. “The Flash” is set to hit the big screen on March 16, 2018.
