The Bachelorette 2016 Australia Georgia Love has admitted that she worries about the social media backlash if fans would not approve of her choice at the finale.

Georgia is trying to find love among the 16 men in the second season of Aussie’s version of The Bachelorette. The former broadcast journalist confessed that she is terrified that she might get the same reactions from fans when The Bachelor 2016 Australia Richie Strahan picked Alex Nation.  Strahan was slammed by fans last week after he chose Alex at the final rose ceremony and dumped fan-favorite Nikki Gogan.

He was tagged as “the most hated man in Australia” after breaking Nikki’s heart.

“It did frighten me. There hasn’t been that backlash before, and it made me realize not everyone’s going to be behind my decision,” Georgia said. Does she have something to worry about? Did she choose the wrong guy?

Georgia assured news.com. au that she is happy with her decision. Georgia also stressed that no one could tell her if she made the right choice or not because she is the one who will be in the relationship.

In June, Georgia was introduced as the next The Bachelorette 2016 Australia star.  She told fans at the time that she is really excited to find love in the show. Georgia quit her job on WIN News in Tasmania to be the leading lady of the reality show.

The Bachelorette 2016 Australia producers picked her as second season leading lady through a national search, unlike Sam Frost.  The star of the show’s first season was the winner of the Bachelor Australia in 2014. Blake Garvey, however, dumped Frost after the finale.

Meanwhile, the Wednesday debut of Georgia’s season of the Bachelorette franchise went on just fine. However, it did not attract the same number of audience as the first season premiere. About 655,000 viewers tuned in for the first episode of this season. By comparison, 875,000 viewers watched Frost’s premiere. It is also below Strahan’s The Bachelor season opening, which recorded 882,000 viewers.

Georgia has already eliminated three men in The Bachelorette 2016 Australia.

The Bachelorette 2016 Australia returns on Wednesday at 7:30 pm on Channel Ten.
