More drama and kissing are coming up in The Bachelor 2016 Australia.

The hit Aussie reality show has been making headlines for varied reasons since it premiered a few weeks ago. The Bachelor 2016 Australia star Richie Strahan has been rumored earlier to have an unpleasant smell. Meanwhile, the contestants were allegedly paid $90 for every day they stay in the mansion. Now, the buzz is all about the sacred white rose.

Latest evictees Marja Jacobsen and Sophie Edwards claim the white rose that every woman in the mansion is aiming for is more like a curse than a privilege. In The Bachelor 2016 Australia, a contestant who received the white rose from Strahan has the chance to have a private time with the hunk.

Hopeful Alex Nation received the coveted white rose during the first episode. This gave her the power to get Strahan all to herself whenever she wants to. She can use this advantage throughout the season unless she gets eliminated, news.com.au.

This, however, causes too much stress to Alex, according to Marja and Sophie. “It was a burden for her — she was always going to be the topic of conversation when the white rose came up. But it’s there for her to use and Richie gave it to her to use — whoever was given it would use it whenever they could,” said Sophie.

Meanwhile, the chemistry between Strahan and Alex has been questioned, too.

In the latest teaser released by Channel Ten, the two were seen getting cozy and locking lips. However, Mail Online reported several photos from the set of the show revealed that the kiss was not as spontaneous and intimate as it looks on screen. Two crew members of the show were spotted giving the two some breath mints before they kissed.

The nurturing skills of the other ladies will also be put on the test this week.  They will be presented with baby dolls to see how they will take care of the little ones.

Strahan revealed in an interview last year that his father left the family when he was still young. The rope technician said he wants to have kids of his own. Once he has, Strahan said he will be a hands-on dad.

The Bachelor 2016 Australia airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 on Channel Ten.
