A Texas woman’s murder has been documented on Facebook by her suspected murderer. Her murderer posted a photo of her dead body on Facebook after fatally stabbing her on Sunday.

Kenneth Alan Amyx, 45, posted a photo of the Texas woman’s nude dead body showing the knife wound on her neck right after her murder. Next, he posted a selfie of his face covered in blood. Officer David Tilley a spokesman for the Plano, Texas Police Department, said that the photo was very disturbing.

Jennifer Spears’s friends were horrified when they discovered the photo of the Texas woman’s murder on her Facebook page. Kenneth told the authorities that  Jennifer, 43 and he were planning to commit suicide for months. They decided that they would stab each other to death at their apartment in Plano, Texas. However, Jennifer could not gather enough courage to proceed but he still decided to continue their pact and kill her, reported New York Times.

As per ABC News, the photos were posted on Sunday morning and police reached the crime scene at about 10 am, when they receive a call from Jennifer’s sister. They found the dead body and Kenneth  there. He had some superficial knife stabs which were considered as self-inflicted.

Jennifer’s Facebook page privacy setting did not allow public to view it but the posted photos could be viewed by her friends and family. The post was on Facebook for more than 36 hours despite the family’s request to take it out. A Facebook spokesperson told ABC News that the company did not notice the post immediately. The spokesperson also said that the company did not come to know that Jennifer’s account had been hacked. Moreover, there are many instances where people share graphic contents that involve people condemning violence. But, when the came ty o know about the real situation it removed the Texas woman’s murder photos.

The spokesperson said, “We remove graphic images when they are shared to celebrate violence. As soon as it was clear what the facts were behind this photograph, we removed it.”

Mail Online quoted Jennifer’s sister who said, “I did ask them to remove it several times. They told me I could block Jennifer if I didn’t like what she posted and gave me other similar options,”

She also says that Facebook gave her limited options to remove the pictures. Facebook, on the other hand, stated that they could not remove the photos until monitor indicated that Jennifer’s profile was hacked.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Kenneth has also been accused of child sexual abuse and has 2 standing warrant of arrests.  He has been charged with Jennifer’s murder.
