We belong to a time where everything demands for a makeover. The trend of makeover doesn’t stay limited to humans. These days even the super heroes and super villains also have to go through many changes. Starting from The Mighty Thor to Jack Napier, Cat Woman to Black Widow no one could really escape the change.
Following that inspiring trend now, it’s time for The Shredder: the popular “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” villain.
According to Screen Rant, the sequel, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”, have managed to pull the entire crowd by designing a completely new armor for Shredder.
The Turtles’ fans got a hint of the stylish getup from the recent Twitter and Instagram posts of actor Brian Tee. Tee is playing Shredder in the sequel, replacing Tohoru Masamune. According to Polygon, Tee introduced and promoted his costume by tweeting, “Ladies and gentlemen … I give you … The Shredder.”

The images clearly show Shredder wearing a much more traditional look of the villain’s armour and helmet. However, there are many modern changes to it. As per Screen Rant’s observation, it has lesser defensive blades than many earlier versions which had more blades on different parts of the body. The armour also looks lighter, while the helmet’s design is greatly inspired by Japanese/Samurai style.
Even though the character of Shredder isn’t new to the series, this movie has the potential to leave a great impression of the villain under the mask.
According to Polygon, apart from Brian Tee, fans will also get to see stars like Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as scientist Baxter Stockman and Laura Linney as police officer Rebecca Vincent.
So hold your breath to witness this newer version of the villainous Shredder.
