Multiple reports have Harry Styles fans on the edge of their seats after learning that the One Direction star is allegedly going to appear on “Teen Wolf,” but is it a fact or just a rumour?

Yibada reported that during a recent interview with Creative 132, Teen Wolf showrunner, Jeff Davis, was asked to confirm whether Styles will really appear in the upcoming season.

“We do want Harry Styles in our show,” Davis said. “Like a new British boy. But we’re still in talks with people, directors, agents. So we can’t confirm anything yet.”

Unfortunately for the Directioners, the hype of Harry Styles being cast on Teen Wolf is actually untrue. According to Digital Spy, MTV confirmed that the interview is fake and Davis haven’t talked about casting Harry Styles on Teen Wolf.

After One Direction announced their extended hiatus in August 2015 explaining that they want to prioritise their individual careers, everyone already knew that Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan were planning for something big.

But while the other boys are busy being linked to A-list celebrities, Harry Styles has his eye on the TV and movie industry.

This isn’t the first time that the singer was rumoured to be cast in a TV show. Although no one actually confirmed that the 22-year-old 1D heartthrob will be a guest star in “Scream Queens” Season 2, but the cast mentioned his name more than once during a panel at PaleyFest 2016 on March 12, sparking rumours of the possibility of him appearing on the show, Us Weekly reports.

“She [Lea Michele] started all this,” co-creator Brad Falchuk said during the event. “She started this rumour, and now it’s a thing.”

One thing is for sure though, Styles landed his very first movie role in a Hollywood blockbuster Dunkirk, according to BBC.
