It is finally happening – Stiles and Lydia will get together.
Enstarz reported that Stiles will plot a rescue mission for Lydia, who is currently locked up in the asylum Eichen House. At one point this season, Stiles visited Lydia and realised that he really needs to get her out of there. Stiles managed to pocket an employee’s ID card before he left the asylum house.
Series creator Jeff Davis revealed during the New York Comic-Con that Stiles’ rescue of Lydia is “definitely going to be a pretty epic moment.”
However, Davis refused to divulge more information, saying: “I don’t want to tease too much because we want it to be surprising, but it will satisfy certain fans I hope. Maybe piss off many others, but that always happens.”
The rescue mission will happen in season five’s episodes 15 and 16.
In this season, fans will also see Lydia use the power of her voice.
Meanwhile, Malia has a mission of her own – to avenge the death of her family in the hands of Desert Wolf.
However, her quest will need to take a detour to attend to a more important mission: to rescue Dr. Alan Deaton (Seth Gilliam) who was taken hostage by the Desert Wolf in a previous episode of “Teen Wolf” season 5B.
According to Christian Post, in the episode, titled “The Sword and the Spirit,” Malia will also be joined by a new ally.
Despite the detour, Malia will eventually continue with her quest for revenge against the Desert Wolf.
Shelley Hennig, who plays Malia, said that nothing is going to stop her character from doing this and killing the Desert Wolf.
In a statement to TV Guide, Hennig said: “She wants revenge. Malia has had enough and no one can really stop her at this point,I feel like the Desert Wolf wants to mess with her a little more but Malia’s intention is to straight up kill her.”
“Teen Wolf” airs Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on MTV.
