Taylor Swift vs Zayn Malik vs Calvin Harris: Biggest Twitter War Yet? Read Tweets Here

Former One Direction singer Zayn Malik got into another Twitter spat — this time it involved Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift.

It all started with a tweet that compared Swift and Miley Cyrus’ opinion on streaming services — and Malik retweeted it, Us Magazine reported.

Harris, who is currently dating Swift, responded to Malik, and the two sent replies to each other back-and-forth.

“@FemaleTexts @zaynmalik You’ve made your money? Cool…f**k the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah F**k em.” Harris tweeted at Malik.

“If u don’t get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry…stay out my f**kin mentions pls,” the Scottish DJ added.

“While u kids are refresh voting teen choice awards there’s some poor f**ker in a basement making your new favorite record trying to survive,” Harris continued. He further tweeted:

Malik responded to Harris, “@CalvinHarris ha you just made an absolute fool of yourself mate.”

“So I suggest you calm your knickers before them dentures fall out…Oh and I write my own s**t too d**knead,” Zayn added.

Swift has been very vocal about her stance on streaming services and artist royalties. In an op-ed on the Wall Street Journal, the singer explained why she decided to pull her music off streaming service Spotify.

Earlier this summer, she also wrote a letter explaining why she would not put her music on Apple Music. She later changed her mind after Apple vowed to compensate artists during the service’s free three-month trial, Entertainment Weekly wrote.

The Daily Mail said Malik’s comment on Swift may have been related to his ex-fiancé Perrie Edwards and her group, Little Mix, performance with Swift at her Santa Clara concert on Saturday.

Over the weekend, Malik also bashed Edwards. Malik retweeted a tweet that read: “Which is the better single? Retweet – ‘Worth It’ by Fifth Harmony. Favorite – ‘Black Magic’ by Little Mix.”
