Taylor Swift just starred in her very own Soap Opera.
Songs from the famed singer were heard on the “The Bold and the Lyrical,” a “soap opera” featured on James Corden’s show.
Well, the T-Swift songs were not heard in its usual manner as the lyrics were used solely as dialogue on the scene of the fake soap opera.
Rolling Stone reports that host James Corden took Swift’s “delightfully melodramatic lyrics to their logical conclusion” on The Late Late Show.
Corden co-starred with actors Julianne Moore and John Stamos.
In the “episode” of “The Bold and the Lyrical Show”, Corden played as “James Cordone” who happens to have a conversation with his lover, “Juliette Moore” played by Julianne Moore.
Cordone entered the scene talking to Juliette Moore, saying “I’ve been cruising. Can’t stop, won’t stop moving.”
The pair used lyrics from famous Swift songs such as “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “You Belong With Me,” “Love Story,” and even some songs from her latest album, “Bad Blood,” “Blank Space,” and “Shake It Off.”
Moore went too far and told Cordone to call their relationship off by saying, “Never mind, I’ll find someone like you.”
Cordone reacted and corrected Moore by saying, “I think that’s Adele.” Both agreed that the song is great.
Cordone then proposed to Moore through the lyrics of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” and kneeled before Moore. However, Moore put the ring in a vase and threw it against the wall. She then said, “we are never ever ever getting back together.”
Finally, John Stamosa, played by actor John Stamos, appeared and is apparently one of Moore’s ex. He told Cordone, “Grab your passport and my hand. I can make the bad guys good for a weekend.”
The Daily Mail praised Julianne Moore as the “54 year-old actress used plenty of references” from Taylor Swift Songs. Who ever thought that Moore was a Swiftie?, the site asked.
