It’s looking like Calvin Harris will be the subject of pop songstress Taylor Swift’s next big hit after the two have confirmed that they have parted ways after 15 months of being in a relationship.
According to Hollywood Life, following Swift’s trend of writing music after a heartbreak, it’s certain there will “definitely” be a song written about the Scottish DJ on the American singer’s next hit album. It is unknown when the album will be released.
According to Aceshowbiz, the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer has previously written songs about her ex flames. She allegedly composed “Style” and “Out of the Woods” for Harry Styles, “All Too Well” for Jake Gyllenhaal, “Forever & Always” for Joe Jonas and “Dear John” for John Mayer.
The two musicians’ break up was first reported on June 2. However, insiders have said that they already separated as early as last week, around the same time Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles, met a car accident that affected his Las Vegas shows. One of these insiders have insinuated to E! News that Harris was the one who decided to end the relationship. A TMZ report has also hinted that Harris’ dislike for the Hollywood life that the two-time Album of the Year Grammy awardee is living in is a big factor in the relationship’s outcome.
Meanwhile, the “This Is What You Came For” star has issued a vague tweet that seems to address press speculation about the cause of the break up, Billboard reported.
“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” Harris wrote to his 7.5 million followers.

Swift has not issued any statement as of press time though a quick peek at Swift’s Twitter timeline suggests that the singer agrees with what Harris said as she retweeted his post.
