Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Calvin Harris threatened to sue an entertainment website for reporting that he and Swift broke up.
Harris slammed Radar Online for claiming that Taylor had split with him.
On his Twitter account, Harris described the speculation as “bulls***” and is threatening to take legal action.
Calvin wrote, “It’s not going to be a ‘happy ending’ for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bulls**t stories bye bye.”
Radar Online wrote that the 25-year-old “Shake It Off” hitmaker broke up with her Scottish DJ boyfriend, allegedly after he was spotted leaving a Thai massage parlor last month.
The site added that Harris begged Taylor to let him meet her at her first Nashville show, but the singer allegedly said “No.”
Swift’s BFF Selena Gomez also denied the break up rumors, saying it was “stupid.”
In an interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show, Selena said: “I think I would have found that out. Is that a rumor? … Honestly, it’s so stupid. I’m pregnant every week. She’s gonna be pregnant. It’s so stupid, like you can’t really read that stuff.”
Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, also took to Twitter and denied the report.
PEOPLE magazine quoted a source also denying Radar Online’s report. “They are happy and going strong,” said the magazine insider.
During a July interview with told KISS FM UK, Harris described their relationship as ‘’absolutely fantastic” and he is insanely happy with Taylor. Calvin however admitted that speculations about their relationship are expected.
“For me, it could be a lot worse and I’d still be insanely happy with her. It’s interesting because obviously there’s different things written about it every day and even if we don’t do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up,” he said.
Taylor and Calvin began dating in March of this year.
