Susan Sarandon is set to make a change in the film industry as she is eyeing to direct porn for women.

The award-winning actress made the statement during her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2016 where she is celebrating the silver anniversary of Thelma and Louise together with co-star Geena Davis. She said she is looking into directing “female-friendly porn” in her 80s.

The actress said that a women director would give another perspective in a sex scene as they are comfortable digging deeper into the emotions that go with it, states The Guardian citing an interview from The Times.

Susan Sarandon, however, admitted she needs to do some research to be able to come up with scenes for the porn for women film. The Dead Man Walking star claimed she has not watched enough as most porn films are “brutal.”

“I haven’t watched enough to know what the problems are. Most pornography is brutal and doesn’t look pleasurable from a female point of view,” she said. “So I’ve been saying that when I no longer want to act, I want to do that.”

Going with a double breasted look for tonight. 😉 #redcarpetready #lorealcannes2016

The controversial statement comes in the wake of another declaration where she said that bagging an Oscar award is close to impossible unless you have the money.

She shared to The Telegraph that when she was first nominated for an Oscar Best Actress award, she did not even know she got the nomination. She added that the same thing can never happen again at present as getting one nowadays is like running a presidential campaign.

“That could never happen again because the campaigns are so enormous. You have to start on the road, it’s as long as a presidential campaign,” she said.

As the world awaits for Susan Sarandon to take on porn for women, the actress is busy being the new face of L’Oreal Paris.
