“Music’s biggest night” just got bigger.
The 2016 Grammy Awards just added Taylor Swift to its roster of performers during a promo that aired at the Super Bowl 50.
According to Billboard, Taylor got the second highest number of nominations this year. She is tied with The Weeknd, who also got seven noms. Kendrick Lamar meanwhile got the highest number of nominations at 11 nods. Taylor, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar are all slated to perform at this year’s awards night. All three artist are also competing for album of the year.
Taylor’s addition was also confirmed on the Grammy Awards’ official Twitter account.
Aside from Taylor, Adele, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Diplo, Skrillex, Pitbull, Robin Thicke, and Travis Barker are set to take the stage.
The Broadway cast of Hamilton, as well as Ellie Goulding, James Bay, Andra Day, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, and the Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry), will also perform. Appearances by Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt, Gary Clark Jr., Sam Hunt, and Tori Kelly have also been confirmed.
Lady Gaga is also slated to perform a David Bowie tribute at the event.
Meanwhile, Drake said he is not going to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards. His name appeared among the performers mentioned in Grammys’ Super Bowl spot. And he seemed to have been as surprised as us.
“I am not performing at the Grammy Awards…but hey it’s the thought that counts,” the rapper said on Twitter.
According to Hotnewhiphop.com, the Toronto-raised rapper will be hosting an All-Star weekend in his hometown just before the Grammys.
Drake is nominated for four Grammys this year, including one for best rap album.
Drake previously starred in another Super Bowl ad for a wireless provider. In the 30 second spot, the rapper spoofed his music video for “Hotline Bling.”
The Grammys will air Feb. 15 on CBS.
