The announcement for MacBook Pro 2016 release date might not be in September. Rumor has it that Apple will need to delay the launch because of new specs.

Tech enthusiasts and loyal MacBook users have been waiting for the official updates from Apple. While the Cupertino-based company remains quiet about their plans, different sources continue spilling some details.

A source told Bloomberg that the tech titan has been testing a new technology that will not be out in the launch of iPhone 7 next month.  This suggests that Apple will have move the MacBook Pro 2016 release date.

According to the insider, the company has been planning to do a major upgrade from the upcoming product. However, they still need more time in order to do so.

As for the changes, the source claimed that the device will sport a thinner design with OLED touch bar as a replacement for the physical function keys. On the other hand, the new touch bar might add cost to the product.

The highly-anticipated laptop might sport an OLED display screen with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 with 5k video technology support. The price for a 13-inch and 15-inch device will be about $1,099 and $ 2,099, respectively.

Aside from that,  other changes include adding four USB type C ports, Touch ID, and Retina display. On the downside, Apple might omit the headphone jack even on the MacBook Pro 2016.

Furthermore, the tech company could also improve its graphics.  There could also be a thinner AMD chipset which allows Macbook Pro 2016 to have a slimmer design but is power-efficient.

Additionally, the internal specification contains an Intel Skylake processor. Apple’s newest operating system, MacOS Sierra, would run the device. Pc Advisor believes that Apple’s upcoming product is a good competition to the Surface Pro 5.

The specs and features aforementioned, plus the latest rumor must be overwhelming. But let us see if Apple will provide any confirmation regarding the MacBook Pro 2016 release date.
