Spoilers on “Suicide Squad” teased that Harley Quinn’s past will be shown in the next movie trailer. What could fans expect from Joker’s right-hand woman?
Cineplex noted that Harley is the “Suicide Squad” character which has “the biggest impression in teaser trailers.” Australian beauty Margot Robbie is likewise happy to play the role. In an interview with the site, she gave details on her badass character.
“Harley is creepy, violent, crazy — all of the things that I aspire to be! No. It’s the fun of living vicariously through someone who is doing things that I would never do in real life.”
Recently, a shot-for-shot breakdown on the film’s 2nd trailer was leaked online. Details revealed how Harley evolved.
“A topless Joker diving into a chemical tank. Joker pulling Harley out of chemical tank,” Heroic Hollywood shared.
Comic book fans know that it was Joker who created the villainous character. He pushed Dr. Harlen Quinzell into a chemical bath and pulled out a transformed character. Given Harley’s interesting past, Margot hopes to please fans of the DC Extended Universe.
Speaking to MTV, Margot earlier said,
“I guess it’s intimidating because there’s obviously a lot of people I want to please, and a character I have to do justice. But it’s a challenge, I’m definitely up for it, and hopefully I don’t disappoint.”
Meanwhile, Margot admitted that she was happy to work with a particular actor. So who did she choose among her co-stars? Will Smith who plays “Deadshot.”
“I enjoyed working with Will so, so much that I was overjoyed when I heard that we would be working together again. He obviously signed on for his own reasons, but I was so incredibly happy that we got to do Round Two. He’s awesome on set and awesome off set.”
But of course, fans are likewise excited to see the dynamics between Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn.
