The most intriguing part of the movie “Suicide Squad” would be the villain considering that the squad is actually made up of “villains” themselves.
The story of the upcoming DC movie revolves around a secret group of expendable operatives that US Intelligence officer, Amanda Waller, assembled. The group is composed of a number of evil villains who have nothing to lose and everything to gain should they choose to follow Waller’s orders.
Now, DC fans are wondering who they will battle against?
According to MNR, a newly updated official synopsis of “Suicide Squad” seems to include a clue as to who the main antagonist would be in the upcoming movie.
The synopsis teased that the squad will be sent on a mission to defeat an “enigmatic and insuperable entity.”
The new synopsis reads:
“It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?”
Movie Pilot noted that before the updated summary was published by DC Comics, most have thought that the Joker (Jared Leto) was actually the main antagonist in the upcoming movie. However, he is neither an entity nor insuperable.
Some also speculated that the description is actually referring to The Enchantress who has enormous magical powers and has an evil “entity” possessing her.
The Enchantress will be played by Cara Delevigne.
