“Suicide Squad” brings together a lot of iconic DC characters. Even the Dark Knight himself will join in on the action. But is Batman’s cameo not the only one included in the movie? Will Barry Allen drop in as well?

According to the Geek Mafia’s sources, actor Ezra Miller will make an appearance as the Flash on “Suicide Squad.” His cameo will reportedly be linked to Captain Boomerang’s introduction. “The character… serves as part of his origin story,” the Geek Mafia said.

The movie’s director, David Ayer, earlier confirmed that he recently re-shot some of the scenes for the movie. “I don’t think there’s any director that finishes a movie and says, ‘Wow that’s perfect, that’s what I really want it to be.’ Every movie I’ve ever made I wish I could go and grab some additional stuff and that’s exactly the chance I got this time,” he told Collider. Did Ayer and his team do additional reshoots to include a cameo with The Flash? Movie Pilot seems to think so. The director himself did say, “there’s a lot of imagery, there’s a lot of nods, and there’s a lot of Easter Eggs” after the reshoots. However, this has yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Ezra Miller, who debuted as the Flash in a cameo on “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” earlier explained what drew him to his DC role. “He follows a lot of really interesting discoveries in physics… we figured out that the Event Horizon was there, and he was the character who was created… to break that Event Horizon… I think that’s an interesting idea,” the actor said in an interview with MTV. “And, what’s an interesting idea to me is, ‘What the [expletive] does that do to someone?’”

“Suicide Squad” will hit the big screen on August 5.
