‘Suicide Squad’, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Crossover in the Works? Comes Together in New Promo

Legends of Tomorrow

DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” latest promo has arrived and fans can catch glimpses of the “Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now,” a half-hour special which will run a few days before the show premieres on CW.

The promo teases all of what fans have been expecting – the legends coming together to save the future, while also coming face-to-face with their own fates. However, it is the last bit in this teaser that will make fans hit the replay button. While, it isn’t anything that fans haven’t seen before, the last few seconds of the promo give a quick view of the characters from the much-awaited movie, “Suicide Squad.”

As noted by ScreenRant, after the “Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now,” special airs on CW, the channel will run another half-hour special for another DC film titled, “DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League.” Hold your breath because this special will feature a never-seen before “Suicide Squad” trailer. Yay!

The “Their Time Is Now” promo gives a quick glimpse of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), and Joker (Jared Leto) in the movie. We will be counting down days until the new trailer is out to give us more insight into “Suicide Squad.” However, rumors of a cross-over going between “Legends of Tomorrow” and the movie hold no water. It is just that both of them are properties of DC entertainment.  We can expect more “Suicide Squad” teasers and promos until the time the upcoming show airs.

Just this week, “Legends of Tomorrow” Executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that the time-travel adventure will take fans to the Old West to visit one of the much loved character: Jonah Hex.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Guggenheim said, “Ever since we decided that Legends would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West.” He added, “But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply must include Jonah Hex in it. We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.”

DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” premieres on January 21 at 8 p.m. ET on CW.
