Rumours circulated that Batman will have a cameo role in “Suicide Squad.” And while there are speculations on who’s the biggest villain among the villains, don’t you think a surprising twist would be possible? Will The Joker and Batman team up?
Well, unlikely of course. However, their interaction will likely spice up the film. Director David Ayer teased that Ben Affleck’s cameo role will involve fighting. As mentioned on Comic Book, it was necessary to include Batman on the film.
“We made him fight. He’s awesome (as Batman). … You really sense that but for the grace of God he himself would be doing some really foul stuff out in the world.”
Meanwhile, the director also praised Jared Leto’s role as Joker. He said that Leto is “the king of Planet Joker.” Do you think he and Batman will have an epic fight scene?
Right now, Affleck can’t talk about his role as he’s bounded by a nondisclosure clause. Nonetheless, the actor talked about his experience. He told USA Today that “Suicide Squad” will blow people away.
“It felt like I have such a cool cousin. This thing that is so awesome is somehow related to me, and that was really exciting because it started to feel like a constellation of things, and I’ve never had that feeling.”
Woah. Do you think this film will lead to big revelations? Likewise, Affleck mentioned that the upcoming DC films will be “massive, smart and interconnected.”
“I’ve been really impressed just as a working stiff to see how they’re doing it,” the actor admitted.
Although three movies were announced this year, Ayer noted that these movies will have an impact in future DC films.
“For me, it’s a little more than just dropping a cut scene in the end credits to link projects. You really have to be thinking three movies downrange and how today’s movie will impact more later-cycle projects.”
