Bodies of PNG plane crash victims arrive home
Last Updated:
The bodies of three Australians and a New Zealander, killed in a plane crash in Papua New Guinea last week, have arrived in the Queensland capital Brisbane.
The four were on board a Trans-Air charter plane when it crashed into trees and burst into flames on Misima Island.
The Fletcher turbine-powered plane was operated by a skydiving company and was carrying a pilot, four skydive instructors and four tourists.
It's the nation's worst air accident in 17 years.
The sole survivor of the accident has been discharged from hospital.
