Stormtroopers, the elite shock troop from the “Star Wars” galaxy have invaded “Britain’s Got Talent” and taken it over with their groovy boogie moves.
The dancing Stormtroopers topped them all during the British talent reality show’s fifth instalment on May 7.
The “Boogie Storm” dance group went on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) and carried out a pretty engaging dance routine wearing Stormtroopers’ uniforms, on Saturday Night. The Huffington Post says, since a Stormtrooper body armor is not just a regular thing to wear, the dance moves were quite impressive. We can’t deny the fact that an armor is a sturdy thing to move around in.
The “Boogie Storm” dance troupe showed great enthusiasm with their high-energy audition of the ITV talent reality. The dancers, whose individual identities are unidentified because they refused to take away their helmets throughout their performance. They put their dancing shoes on and set the stage on fire with a few peppy numbers like Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” and Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”

Boogie Storm even managed to impress the famously hard-to-please, Simon Cowell. As he went gaga over the dance group. His fellow judges started to dub the 56-year-old as the “Dark Lord” and the “real-life Darth Vader.” The music mogul chose to award his Golden Buzzer to Boogie Storm.
Praising the troupe Cowell stated,
“I don’t know who you are, but I literally said ‘If we could find Stormtroopers who could dance’ — seriously, I said that — ‘this show is going to go into a different league.’” He continued, “My dream has come true. Thank you.”
However, Mirror reports, Britain’s Got Talent fans have expressed their outrage at Simon Cowell. Many took their frustrations to the social media, as well. They consider the 37-year-old mum Rachael Wooding more deserving to be put through as she wowed everyone with her singing poise.
“Boogie Storm” is moving onto the show’s finals, so their fans will likely see more from them soon.
