The next film for the “Star Wars” franchise is now a work in progress. According to a report, “Star Wars 8” or dubbed as “Rogue One,” will have some scenes filmed in Croatia. The new actors for Han Solo have allegedly spoken out about the role.
According to Making Star Wars, the movie’s production team will be heading to Dubrovnik, Croatia for filming some scenes. Pop culture fans may already know that the location is also where some “Game of Thrones” scenes were shot.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” star Jack Reynor is rumored to be joining the spin-off as the young Han Solo. He did not confirm or deny the news, but said something about the rogue character and its actor Harrison Ford in an interview.
“We’re talking about Harrison Ford. He’s no chump. You can’t do an imitation. You can’t try and just emulate what that is. It’s got to be something new,” he told MTV. “It’s also got to be something that the audience is going to respond to.
On the other hand, Logan Lerman is also said to be portraying the iconic role. The young actor said that “It would just be fun.” “I don’t think I’d be intimidated,” the 24-year-old stated, without giving any concrete answer on whether he will play the role or not.
Meanwhile, Forest Whitaker’s character on the much-awaited film has been reportedly revealed, according to another Making Star Wars news. The site hinted that the actor would be a “good guy,” but the details about his role have not been completed yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
