‘Star Wars 7’ Release Date & Plot: Han Solo a Drunk? Backstory Revealed [Rumors]

Recent Reports stated that there will be a standalone anthology movie dedicated to the thief that Star Wars fans love. Fans are surely excited now that Han Solo’s “Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens” plot and back-story rumors are sparking all over the internet.

Inquistr reports that Han Solo and Chewbacca will have a huge part in the upcoming movie.

The site notes that the two may have lost the Millenium Falcon just days before the “The Force Awakens”, but the report remains unconfirmed though. Another rumor also notes that “Star Wars 7” newcomers could be Han Solo and Princess Leia’s children. While the site says the reports have been confirmed to be false, it did acknowledge that it could just be a distraction and fans may still see Solo Jr. in the movie.

More storyline and plot updates about Chewie and Solo were published on Making Star Wars.

“Chewbacca is captured and put into slavery in the aftermath of ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and the invasion of Kashyyyk. Han Solo frees the Wookiee and therefore Chewbacca owes Han Solo a life debt.”

The site also revealed that before the “Force Awakens”, they were both “down and out”. Han Solo became an old drunkard who was “older, sadder, bitter”.

“The years haven’t been kind to the smuggler. Although Jabba is out of his life, Solo found new men willing to kill him and his life is as complicated as it ever was,” noted source.

They also added that Ducain and the Irving boys want him dead, and it is possible that the people Han Solo will face and fight in the gigantic freighter on “The Force Awakens” may be directly connected to the gangs.

So far none of the reports have been confirmed.

“Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens” will hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
