A new trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has been released and it revealed more details on the plot of the franchise’s seventh installment.

According to the Daily Mail, the clip can be seen on the Japanese version of the official Star Wars website.

It showed Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, in the desert telling droid BB-8 that she has been waiting for her family. She was also seen being threatened by Kylo Ren as he wields his crossguard lightsaber next to her, Daily Mail described.

Princess Leia, portrayed by Carrie Fisher, was also shown with C-3PO and Poe, played by Oscar Isaac.

Lupita Nyong’o’s  character, Maz Kanata, was featured towards the end of the trailer. She can be heard saying: “’Hope is not lost today… it is found.”

Meanwhile, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” might just be coming on the small screen on Thursday (Nov 12).

Shonda Rhimes, creators of hit series such as “Grey’s Anatomy, “Scandal,” and “How to Get Away With Murder” teased on Twitter what seems to be a new teaser for the upcoming Disney film.

The sneak peak is said to be presented by the cast of Rhimes’ shows on ABC.

MovieWeb said it is not known what exactly will be shown during this time, but fans may probably get a first glimpse of Luke Skywalker, maybe.

Disney and LucasFilm earlier released promotional materials for “Star Wars 7” including character posters, but Luke Skywalker was still noticeably missing.

Mark Hamill reprises his iconic role as Luke Skywalker.

“Star Wars” producer Kathleen Kennedy earlier said “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi” and “Star Wars: Episode IX” have all revolved around Skywalker’s family, MovieWeb noted.

Harrison Ford once again played the role of Han Solo. The cast also includes John Boyega (Finn), Adam Driver(Kylo Ren), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux),  Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke) and Max von Sydow as an unidentified character.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will kick off in cinemas on December 18, 2015.
