‘Star Wars 7’ Movie Villain is Luke Skywalker? Cast Reveal Details

Where is Luke Skywalker?

Where is Luke Skywalker? This has been the question lingering in the minds of the “Star Wars” fans. And because the premiere’s happening in two weeks, fans hope that they could get their questions answered ahead of time. Is he the movie’s villain?

With the original protagonist’s absence in all promotional materials of the new film installment, there were a lot of theories and speculations surrounding his character. According to Movie Pilot, Kylo Ren and The First Order might be hunting Luke Skywalker because he’s turned evil.

The site mentioned that in Entertainment Weekly’s latest issue, actor John Boyega (who plays Finn) revealed something no one’s ever expected. Movie Pilot noted that Boyega’s revelation meant that a lot from the galaxy consider Luke as a villain.

Boyega said,

“He’s been taught about Luke Skywalker, he knows about his history. For him it’s like joining the army and then learning about one of the great enemies of your country. In terms of the Force, that is the point where Finn kind of questions what is what. What is the Force, what part does Luke Skywalker play in all of this?”

According to the site, Luke Skywalker is part of the “forgotten heroes” of the galaxy. In the movie’s third trailer, Movie Pilot mentioned that the scene between Han, Rey, and Finn showed that people forgot about the heroes.

Filmmaker J.J. Abrams explained that the story of the new “Star Wars” film took place 40 years after Jedi. This meant that Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia were considered as myths.

If The First Order thinks Luke is the villain, it could mean that he isn’t evil, Movie Pilot wrote. Although he might be different now, the site mentioned that it is unlikely that Luke turned to the Dark Side.

Although actor Mark Hamil discussed a Non-Disclosure Agreement on Luke’s character, fans will only have to wait a few weeks before their questions get answered. Do you think Luke Skywalker has turned evil?
