In the much-awaited “Star Wars” sequel, there are still a lot of things that avid fans are hoping to know and understand. One of which is the fact that  Luke Skywalker is missing from the official movie trailer and poster of “Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.”

Cinema Blend wrote that actor Mark Hamill revealed hints that the mystery surrounding Luke Skywalker in the latest film is actually a very big secret.

Hamill talked about a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) surrounding the mystery. And he said that he has sworn to keep it a secret until December 18 – the confirmed release date of the film.

Speaking to an interview with PC Gamer, Hamill said,

“It’s crazy. This NDA stuff where you’re not allowed to talk about anything. I have something coming out where there’s an amount of money that if it leaks, because of me, I don’t get that payment. If I keep it secret until the day it comes out, I get that payment.”

In the past, he also had a similar situation during the sequel, “The Empire Strikes Back.” According to Hamill, George Lucas, Director Irvin Kirshner and him were the only people who knew the truth behind Darth Vader.

The actor who previously played hero on the past “Star Wars” films mentioned that he was a champ at keeping secrets.

“I’m proud of the fact that I knew a year and a half before anybody else that he was actually Darth Vader. I didn’t even tell Harrison or my wife, because I thought it would be terrible if she said something to a fan,” Hamill added.

Before the video interview ended, Hamill even said that he’s not supposed to confirm if he’ll be starring in the upcoming “Star Wars” movie.

So what could be Hamill’s role on the new sequel? And more importantly, who is Luke Skywalker on the new film?
