“Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens” IMAX poster has been unveiled to awaiting fans looking to gather any information and more details about the upcoming movie.

As noted by IGN, the poster features Rey and her companion BB-8 walking into the sunset with a steely determination. The movie will hit theaters on December 18 and fans may also get to witness the X-Men: Apocalypse’s first trailer, which naturally amps up the excitement.

It was only last week that the first official TV Spot for the upcoming “Star Wars” movie was launched. Nobody failed to note that the Luke Skywalker did a no-show not only in the posters released but was also conspicuously absent in the TV Spot. It would be safe to assure fans that Mark Hamill is definitely a part of “Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.”

Director J.J. Abrams told Entertainment Weekly, “No one forgot about him!”

He shared, “We were hoping people would care, but there are a lot of things that are not on the poster, as busy as the poster is. Certainly Luke is a very important aspect of the story.”

Abrams also shared details about what it was like working on a story that “took place nearly 40 years after Jedi,” He said“It was the thing that struck me the hardest, which was the idea that doing a story that took place nearly 40 years after Jedi meant that there would be a generation for whom Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia would be as good as myth.”

Sharing details about Finn, John Boyega said, “He’s been taught about Luke Skywalker, he knows about his history. For him it’s like joining the army and then learning about one of the great enemies of your country. It has that effect on him. But in terms of the Force, and the magical stuff that happens, that is the point where Finn kind of questions what is what. What is the Force, what part does Luke Skywalker play in all of this?”

“Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.” will reveal to us where exactly Luke Skywalker is and what destiny had in store for him.
