The Spiderman Homecoming poster just dropped, and it features some more high-tech Spidey gadgets.
The poster showed Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spiderman, hanging upside down. His web shooters are also more noticeable now. In previous versions of the movie, Spiderman’s web-slinging gadget is hidden beneath his costume. In the Spiderman Homecoming poster, the web shooters can be seen wrapping around the superhero’s forearms and running up to his wrists. The triggers can also be seen on his palms.
The poster, which is already making the rounds on social media, was first seen at the fashion trade show Magic Las Vegas. It is a three-day event for apparel vendors in Las Vegas Convention Center.
The suit Spidey is wearing in the poster is basically the same with what fans saw when he debuted in Captain America: Civil War. Spiderman was recruited by Tony Stark to join Team Iron Man in his battle against Team Cap. In the movie, Peter thanked Stark for his new suit. Is this going to be the final Spiderman suit in the upcoming Marvel film? Or will there be more changes coming?
Tom Holland, who will be playing Spiderman/Peter Parker, has hinted during Comic Con 2016 that there might be some modifications in Spidey’s suit. Holland refused to divulge the details of the new suit, but he assured that it is going to be very cool. Holland also teased that he will also be using the labs at his high school to create his gadgets.
Based on the poster, Spiderman will be having more state-of-the-art gadgets in Homecoming. This suggests that Stark will not only serve as his mentor. The tech billionaire may probably help the high school teen superhero in making his gadgets. Robert Downey Jr. has confirmed his appearance in Spiderman Homecoming.
Holland is currently shooting his version of the Marvel superhero at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. Spiderman Homecoming also stars Michael Keaton as villain Vulture. Marisa Tomei will reprise her role as Peter’s Aunt Mary, while Zendaya will be playing the role of Michelle.
