‘Spider Man’ Solo Movie: Iron Man Becomes Young Spidey’s Guide?

Spider Man

Iron Man will once again work with Spider-Man in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” It was earlier announced that actor Robert Downey Jr. will be joining the cast of the “Spider-Man” reboot. What role will Tony Stark play in the life of Peter Parker?

According to Movie Pilot, no one has a clue what Iron Man might be up to in “Homecoming.” But the movie blog speculates that it might just explore “some kind of mentor – protege dynamic” between the two Marvel heroes.

In the original comics, Parker eventually became Stark’s “right-hand man” in his company. The Stark Industries CEO was even the one who convinced Parker to reveal himself as the man behind Spider-Man. Will “Homecoming” explore the same story arc? It does seem possible. Kevin Feige recently told Collider that the “Spider-Man” reboot will not dwell too much on his origin story.

Feige thinks “it’s safe to assume that everybody knows how Spider-Man became Spider-Man … We’ve seen it a number of times now … [and there] are events that made Peter who he was. And we’ll certainly allude to those events,” he said. “But we’re much more focused on his future and how he continues to grow and have a steep learning curve after Civil War.”

Can’t wait for Spider Man’s solo movie? You can first catch him in action in the “Captain America” movie next month. He will be joining Team Iron Man in “Captain America: Civil War.” Which team will prevail: Team Iron Man or Team Cap? The movie has yet to hit the big screen. But CNBC already predicts that it is Team Marvel that will emerge as the “real winner.”

“Captain America: Civil War” will be released on May 6. Meanwhile, fans will have to wait a little longer for the Spider-Man reboot. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” will hit theatres on July 7, 2017.
