This must be a sad news for all Spice Girls fans out there. The group’s 20th-anniversary reunion concert is delayed until 2017.

There are no available locations to pursue the event, confirms Melanie B. “Places get booked out, so what we’re hopefully doing is planning on doing something to celebrate next year,” quotes Irish Examiner.

The singer, also known as Scary Spice, revealed that the girls wanted to have the concert done this year. She said on “U.S. chat show Live With Kelly” that 2016 is the perfect year to celebrate.

Aside from that, there are also rumors that only 3 of the members are willing to push the reunion.

Mel B., Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice and Geri Horner aka Ginger Spice will reunite for the tour. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice and Melanie Chisholm aka Sporty Spice will not be joining.

The Sun allegedly reported that the three are looking for a replacement. The magazine also claimed that Melanie B. unfollowed Sporty Spice on social media. However, it is not clear whether there is a heating feud among the members.

Scary Spice has been adamant about the 20th-Anniversary reunion concert. She has been telling different media outlets that she definitely want to celebrate the milestone.

“I think when there is something to say, we’ll be screaming from the rooftops about it. But right now, we’re just being friends and hanging out, bouncing around ideas, and we’ll see what happens!” Her previous statement quotes Otago Daily Times.

Melanie B. has been very open about it. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham has not given a say about the reports.  A previous report revealed that she wants to stay away with the group for good.

Notably, Posh Spice has been busy building her empire on the fashion industry. She is also busy being the wife of David Beckham and the mother of their 4 children- Brooklyn, Romeo James, Cruz David, and Harper Seven.

Rumors in the past claimed that Backstreet Boys, along with the all-time popular girl group will hold a joint tour. So far, Backstreet Boys only confirms their next upcoming album.

Will the fans finally hear a good news about Spice Girls? Let us cross our fingers and hope it will happen soon.
