With users only beginning to get used to 2K displays, comes the news of what could be a 4K display on Sony Xperia Z5 Plus. With rumor mills churning out speculations about every possible piece of tech, nothing much has been heard of the Sony Xperia Z5 Plus.
Now, XperiaBlog has put up leaked pictures of what could possibly be the Z5 Plus, and suggested that this offering could be coming with a 4K display to dazzle users. The assumptions are based on the UAProf of the device, possessing the model number Sony E68XX (E6833, E6853 E6883).
Touted to be the phablet variant of the Sony’s H2 flagship, Z5 Plus would be amongst the first smartphones to arrive with a 4K Ultra HD, if it indeed does come with the resolution.
The leaked Sony Mobile render shows the Z5 Plus complete with the OmniBalance should be similar to the Xperia Z3 plus. The leaked image also shows a finger-print scanner on the right side of the phone. The smartphone may come dipped in three colours: Black, Gold and Chrome.
A post on Phandroid indicates that the device could possibly be holding a Snapdragon 810, as per the UAProf. What cannot be confirmed is the screen size of the device.
There’s still no word on when the company will be making the announcement for this phablet. Chances are the details would be cleared up during the IFA 2015 to be held in September. It will also be interesting to see what price point will this offering be making an entry into the smartphone markets around the globe. Potential users could keep their eyes on the news for further updates.
