Fans gear up, because Simple Plan in Australia is the next big thing on your calendars.
Simple Plan, the French-Canadian pop-punk band, is heading to Australia on September 10 to entertain their fans. It has been touted that the band has a new album dubbed as Taking One For The Team, which they will showcase during the tour. There is also news that some special local guests including Sydney Pop Punk band Forever Ends Here will also be joining Simple Plan for the musical ride.
Taking One For The Team is the fifth album by Simple Plan. Atlantic Records released the album on February 19 and represents the band’s first full-length record in nearly five years.
Simple Plan in Australia tour will feature songs like new single I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed (featuring Nelly), as well as emo-pop classics like Shut Up, Addicted, I’m Just A Kid and Perfect.
Simple Plan was formed in 1999. The band comprises former high school pals Pierre Bouvier (vocals), Jeff Stinco (guitar), David Desrosiers (bass), Sebastien Lefebvre (guitar), and Chuck Comeau (drums).
All of them come together to play rock, pop punk, punk rock, punk, emo music. It was in 2013 when the band last came to Australia and performed in Perth .

While the Sydney show will allow entries of all ages, the shows on following dates will only permit fans who are 18+.
According to Music Feeds, an exclusive pre-sale for Frontier Touring members will kick off from 12 p.m. Monday, 18th July and run ’til 12pm Tuesday, 19th July. At the same time, tickets go on sale to the general public from 10 a.m. Wednesday, 20th July.
