“Sherlock” actor Benedict Cumberbutch is starring in his best role to date — being a daddy.
The 39-year old actor was recently seen bonding with his family as he cradled his son and walked down the street with his wife, Sophie Hunter.
The couple tied the knot in February this year. In June, their son Christopher Carlton was born.
Benedict maybe playing daddy in real life but on the reel he is making Sherlock look so much more attractive.
BBC Sherlock Season 4 is based on a British crime drama and it is a contemporary adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes detective stories.
The fourth season is themed “dark and tragic” and the trailers show that the episodes would be more chaotic, exciting and blood-splattered.
But could season 4 be cancelled even after the teasers are out? There have been rumors that season 4 would not air.
Reports by the Christian post give us the sad news that the show might not go on.
“I have some bad news regarding ‘Sherlock.’ I know that we have promised you a fourth season time and time again, but at this point in time, this is not a prioritization that BBC can make in the near future,” Mark Gattis, co-creator of the series, said, notes Christian Post.
As fans may know, rumors not to be taken too seriously and are mostly untrue. Gattis refuted all claims about the show being cancelled.
“We have a plan to top it. And I do think our plan is devastating. We’ve practically reduced our cast to tears telling them the plan…we’re probably more excited that we’ve ever been about Sherlock,” noted the EW.
The fourth season of “Sherlock” will begin recording during the spring of 2016, ahead of the 2017 broadcast date.
