After the phenomenal series and two successful movies, a “Sex in the City” reboot is reportedly in the works. Apparently, one of its main star Sarah Jessica Parker wants out of the contract. Which one of this is true?
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, actress Sarah Jessica Parker deflated the issue about a rumored reboot.
“Oh my god. When I posted that picture and people were in a rage at me, I was shocked. They were convinced I had been taunting them. I’m not that clever!” she explained.
She was referring to the photo on her Instagram, to which she is carrying a brown Bloomingdale’s paper bag.
After reading the caption, the fans allegedly assumed that was about the next “SATC”.
Parker made it clear that the post was regarding her shoe collection debut at the department stores, and not about the rumored part 3.
The hot mom is still apologizing for the misconception, “I’m still finding people and being like, ‘No @BoobityBopBeep! Why would I hurt you?’ I’ve never been a mean girl,” she told the magazine.
Aside from the “Sex in the City” rumors, it has also been reported that Parker wanted out of her contract with the series, according to Sky News.
However, Parker’s co star in a play, Seth Rudetsky, made it clear that Parker was reluctant to take part on “Sex and the City” when she was only starting and did not want to be “tied-up” with a series.
“Sarah was reluctant to do the pilot because she didn’t really want to do a series,” he revealed.
“However, she loved the script, so she filmed it and then forgot about it,” he continued.
Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays as Carrie Bradshaw, has been a household name with the success of “Sex and the City.”
